Default Almost bit by the new bike bug

So I've avoided the '17s so far, but the wife and I were up in the area by a dealership I like and I almost put money down on this bike. So what it is, is they work with an HD affiliate shop that uses all HD paints. The dealer has a few people at their shop that come up with their personal paint schemes. (They had 4 there) I think if I had my bike there today I would have traded it. But it being winter I didn't and it held me back from the deal, because I had no idea the dollar value of my trade. The pictures to me don't do the bike justice. The other thing is they will work with you to come up with any paint scheme you want and as long as you don't have outrageous airbrush detail, the cost is relatively pretty close.

I have taken the M8 out a few times. I have a 107 FM build in my 09. I know you read a lot on line about the M8 and everyone has an opinion. All that really matters is I'm comfortable with the deal. It's winter here so unless I trailer-ed mine to them, I have no idea how they would give me trade value. Also, if I'm going to be that serious, I'm not sure if I would go with this exact one, or design one with them. I'd also love some kind of muted flat black design. This one just caught my eye. First time I truly considered upgrading from my '09

I hear ya... had it been spring and I had happened to ride there, very good chance this would be sitting in my garage right now. I did email the dealer back to see if they could give me good idea on trade of mine.

The question is .. as appealing as it appears and your last bike you bought is 2009 maybe, would you, could you look at that paint for the next 8 years? mmm I don't think I could.

Usually flames in a paint job do not excite me but that one does. Very well done, not just the flames but the whole paint scheme

It reminds me of the 2010 & 2011 CVO a little, but like it a lot better. The close-up shows off the flake pretty well. Bet it's killer in person. Especially in the sun.

How much money does that paint job add to the price?
