Default Problem with secondary hydraulic clutch actuator

Really enjoying my 2017 FLHTKL...6500 miles since new last August. Motorcycle has performed well, can't ask for much more out of a stock machine. However, after an hour or so ride on January 20, pulled bike in garage & shut her down. Then for some reason gave the clutch a squeeze & heard a sound that can best be described as a "kazoo-like" sound coming from the transmission end cover where the secondary hydraulic clutch actuator resides. Did this several times then quit making noise. Next day same thing happened, again after about an hour or so ride. Weather did not cooperate much for the next few weeks, so did not get any riding in. Went to garage daily & squeezed clutch...no noise with motorcycle at ambient temperature. Finally was able to get out for a ride a couple of days ago & was able to capture noise on video with my cell phone. Rode to dealership (almost an hour away) after making video & sure enough, actuator would not make noise no matter how many times I squeezed clutch. lol. I played the video for the service tech & he was stumped. Dealership now has motorcycle in their service department for repair.
I am aware of the recall for the hydraulic clutch on the 2016s and the fact that the factory completely redesigned all of the parts for 2017... I think there might still be an issue. Have not disturbed clutch master cylinder and there is not a sight glass as on the brake master cylinder, but I assume clutch master cylinder fluid level is good. No signs of leaks anywhere that I can see. Transmission fluid level is good.
Gonna attach a link to video on photobucket so y'all can hear it for yourselves. Opinions ??

any issues going into neutral? almost sounds like there is a leak in the system. Never heard anything like that before.

That's a metal on metal squeal, what I can't tell you.

Yep, definitely sounds like metal to metal to me too. Dealer didn't want to disassemble for inspection without actually "hearing " the noise for themselves, but a call to HD & they were told to replace secondary hydraulic clutch actuator & pushrod. Good thing I had the video because they could not get noise to happen. I'll be sure n let y'all know if this takes care of the problem. First new motorcycle for me in over a decade, figures I'd get one with some off the wall problem. lol.

BTW, no problems shifting gears, going into neutral, etc.

Good luck on this and please keep us updated as you go, I did the plunge and picked a 17 RK only new bike I've ever owned in 40 odd years riding.

my 2017 ultra limited with 7300 miles started having a primary actuator issue. couldn't start bike in first gear and the eitsn? would not activate at stop unless in "n". dealer replaced actuator, entire switch housing on the gear side, which fixed the problem. Couple of days later the clutch started to become very hard to pull and produced a grinding noise when at idle or turned off. dealer replaced secondary actuator and that fixed the problem. several days later the clutch started to have the same problem - have not been back to dealer .
