Default New M8 Cams from Andrews.

I saw these cams with dyno runs at the Expo.. I didn't pick up the data sheets at the time but Gary at Andrews just sent me the specs.. IIRC the dyno run showed a significant increase evenly across the whole power band on the 450.. It was better on the low end compared to the SE cam but not as good up top. The 450 is available now but the 460 might see a change before release.. They are also releasing some higher performance cams for bore kits with higher compression.

MSRP is $187

Ready for sale.

There was one for the 450 at the expo that was on a completely stock bike that showed a nice increase everywhere.. Here is one for the 460 cam on a completely stock bike..

They are also coming out with the 504 cam.. Here are the specs and results from it after boring stock cylinders to 114 and using a VnH X pipe..

I have to ask, Do you have a vested interest in pushing them being they are in Fl as well? It just seems like every time this name comes up it is a post from you. It may be a great cam, just curious.

The first chart was a stock 107, stock headpipe, stock air cleaner and stock muffler?

I don't want to speak for SoZo, but if he is the same guy, in earlier threads he was looking mostly at low RPM torque improvements (where many of us spend most of our time). Many cams are good in higher RPMs, the Cycle Rama that he finally dug up seemed to be the best low RPM cams from the dyno charts that were provided. I might guess that SoZo is making the same analysis here; that the Cycle Rama cams seem to have better low RPM torque numbers. If that is the case, I'd ask that SoZo re-consider. The Cycle Rama cams are on a modified bike per the CR dyno sheets provide. Max Headflow says that Andrews cam dyno sheet is from a straight 107. If so, I'd say SoZo's conclusions are ill considered at this point and the jury is still out. FWIW.
