Default M8 sound versus Twin Cam

I was so used to the sound of a twin cam 103 that I am really struggling to like how my m8 sounds, even with full exhaust and stage 1. The twin cams have a much crisper exhaust note. Anyone else wish the m8 sounded more traditional?

It's going to be like that.

It is kind of like how a fuel injected twin cam sounds different than a carbureted Evo.

Enjoy it for what it is.

I dig the sound of the M8 and I'm 100% stock. Bike runs fantastic see no reason to change anything. This 2017 RK is my 4th Harley over the years and is the best motorcycle I have ever owned (not talking just Harley) I'm saying with only 3,200 miles. Keeps getting better.

The M8 is mainly a "Tourer" motor at present. My guess would be that once it makes its way into the Dynas and other cruisers, there will be more of an interest in aggressive sounds,,,,, or not.

Like suddenly a TwinCam sounds HD authentic. Nah.
Sure, the M8 nor a TC sound like an EVO, Pan, or Knuckle. Doesn't matter, I'm just very, very glad it doesn't run like one.
