Not a fan of the blacked out look but I think these compliment my bike well.

I hope I don't get kicked off this black bikes matter thread, but I'm close to bringing home an M8 Roadking in the Hard Candy Hot Rod Red. But, the dealer had an added mark up, and I'm thinking I'll be luck to get MSRP, before dealer prep, taxes, registration...

Did a little mod this weekend

After, 21 Inch 52 Fat Spoke Rim with "spoke" rotors and a black flush axle and black wheel spacer. looks way better and the flush axle cleans up the lowers nicely. No dumbo ears sticking out!

So I should be getting my charcoal RKS the second week of May and your bike is almost the same as what I am going to do!

Well, kinda. I am going to the none stretched bags and stainless exhaust but I'm going the supertrapp boot kicker route.

Thanks for the inspiration and... we need to hear that thing!! (Please)

Default Reflector be Gone!

Want to remove reflector bracket bolted to a Road King Special FLHRXS rear light bar.

There is little room to work either on top or underneath fender. What is the size of the hex on the two bolts that hold the reflector bracket to the light bar? Thinking of cutting/ grinding a hex key to fit in space between fender and hex bolt.

Any tips/procedures/I may be missing to help me get rid of this damn reflector.

Earlier in this thread I posted about it as did others. It is really tight. Use blue painters tape and tape up the all the paint around and behind the light bar, it is really easy to scratch while taking this off. It can be done without removing the light bar, but it is tedious. I used needlenose vise grips to loosen the allen heads and then replace them with hex head screws. I posted the size if I remember right.
