Saw a hot rod red flake at Warrs HD today, very nice looking bike.

 

oh Shizzle. It does exist.. that looks Great.. Love the Horn..


The Tribal mirrors and hand grips are a nice edition too and of course the flush mount gauges.


Just cant get past the horrendous crash bars on these bikes.. Ready for my chopped engine guard to get in so I can get it on.. think it helps reduce the bulk look on the front end.

Here on Long Island I have been to the three closest Harley Dealers and can't even find a RKS to look at. Dealer says when they come in they are gone a few hours later.

Come on Harley start cranking these things out!

 

jumping in. Saw a brand new road king special in black. New bars and some other changes. All the salesmen came out just to stare at it. Wow. Really nice. I know there are Road king lovers out there. HD got it right.

 

I installed the Chopped Engine guard this morning.. Pics aren't that great.. Ill do one updated pic once I got the bike out of the garage on Tuesday.


Night and day difference in my opinion on the overall look of reducing the bulk look on the front end

 

I put a new solo seat on the King today. The Road Glide wanted her seat back. Lol.

 

What solo seat is that? Look pretty sweet. I'm thinking of picking up the low profile from Harley.. But 2 friends keep encouraging me to check out Mustang before deciding.either way your bike is coming together well !

 

It is the Mustang solo. Seems like it sits me up and inch or so and back an inch. The CVO solo I had on it was similar but sat a bit lower. I'm happy so far with the limited seat time.

 

I picked up my charcoal denim on Thursday night (first RKS sale for the dealer). Dealer had a vivid black one on the floor, it was gone by Saturday afternoon. According to the dealer, they have 1 more charcoal coming in about 2 weeks, which will be their last RKS for 2017 model year. They've been told they won't get any more until 2018 roll out.
