Any opinions on the above grips?
I put the Defiance on my Fatboy and love them. Look good and I think they are pretty comfortable.

Nice. My Defiance floorboards arrived yesterday, first time I've seen them in the flesh, the grips have sold themselves lol!
Just put in a big order:

V&H Power Duals (Eliminator 400s already fitted)
V&H FP3
HD Windsplitter Windshield
HD 4 point docking hardware & covers
HD Flush mount fuel cap/gauge
HD sissy bar & pad
HD fork lock cover
HD Heavy Breather & trim (last minute change of heart from the Arlen Ness Deep Cut)
HD Defiance grips
HD Defiance shifter pegs

Cant decide on a new lower profile seat, its between La Pera, Danny grey and Mustang. Any advice? I'm 6'1" and would like to move back a bit if possible. Something suitable for a good days riding, solo with pillion pad or 2 up, either really. Nearly bought a Mustang Wide Solo Tripper but then read some bad reviews...

I have a wide Day Tripper two-up and I’m 6’3”. It’s pretty comfy without looking like a giant overstuffed sofa.

(Sorry, I’d post up a picture of my bike but my new iPad doesn’t let me copy url’s of my photos anymore.) oh, there it is in my signature.

It is 16". I am 5'10" and it hits me right at chin level. Allows me to look over the shield.

Default HD Windsplitter

My HD Windsplitter should be arriving in a week or so. Can anyone who has this already confirm whether I need a mounting kit to fit it on my RKS please? Dealer said no but read elsewhere I do. Cheers

Yes, you’ll need a mounting kit. Four rubber and metal grommets for the shield brackets to mount up to. Part no. 58221-04

In their defense, it does say, “all hardware included.” But...if you look at the fine print it tells you, “‘17 and later FLHRSX require installation kit.” It’s a little confusing but you’re correct, the dealer staff should know this stuff.
