Cobra NH's worth buying?
I have RCX slip ons now but want to try a different sound. I see the Cobra NH's are about $300, I can live with that incase I dont like them, I don't want to drop another 6-7 hundred to play around with. I have listened to some videos but its hard to tell about any exhaust by videos. Anyone running the cobras have any input if they are worth spending the money on. Thanks!

Its hard to get a true sound out of a system from a video. I went to several dealers and some Harley events and just asked folks to hear their exhaust systems. People love to show off their exhausts and it gave me a good idea of what my system was going to sound like. For my taste, I thought the neighbor haters were a little too loud for what I was looking for.

they don't sound very loud in the videos but I realize the videos do not give the best "advice" may just have the dealer decat my bike and keep the RC's, that may wake it up to where I want it anyway.

I have the Cobra NH's on my 17RGS. Worth every penny in my opinion. No way I want to drop $600-$700 just for slipons. Then, drop the same later down the road for a head pipe. That's why I chose them. The Cobras have a nice low roar to them & sound throaty too. Loud enough to hear them constantly but not enough to drown out the radio. Got mine thru Westendmotorsports in Pa. for $335 shipping included. Everyone who hears them says they like the sound. I'll change out the headpipe when warranty expires. Quick installation 25-30 minutes. Only minor issue I had was to move the heat shields a tad, & the left pipe was a bit tough to get on. But a very simple fit. You won't be disappointed.
