Bassani DNT's
#21
I haven't heard the DNT's on an M8, but the sales guy was taking me around to listen to different mufflers they had installed on M8's before I bought my RG and they did have some CFL's on one. By far I thought it sounded the best of what they had. DNT's have almost the same sound as CFL's, they're just a lot easier to tune, IMO.

Eagle Out
#23
Well, I had it dyno' today, after adding a Woods cam, and it does sound a little different. But in a higher compression way. Like more of a gurgling sound, if that makes sense. Still very throaty though, that hasn't changed. To my earns, they are still one of, if not, the best sounding pipes out there. And no, I'm not being bias. I also love the pro pipe, CFR's (sound) and thinderheader. I just can't stand high pitched pipes.

DNT's Installed
Well I installed the Bassani DNT's this morning and I couldn't be happier with the result. They have a very deep mellow tone on the stock M8, not exceptionally loud. I think they sound good, but I can still hear the sound system out on the highway. I would recommend them, but I really don't want anyone else to have them, so absolutely do not buy these exhaust and install them on your bike.
