You are right about the cold start. I was getting ready to leave for the airport and didn't have time to warm it up.

I just had the Bassani Mufflers and headers installed on my 2017 FLHTK Milwaukee 8. IMHO they were too loud. What I had was Jackpot 2-1/2 on a 2014 FLHTK, so it's not like I wasn't use to some sound. The Milwaukee 8 IMHO is louder than the Twin Cam.

Vance and Hines assured me the Monster Rounds would was what I was looking for and they were right. The dealership mistakenly installed the V & H Twin Slash on the Bassani Header, and they were as loud as the DNT's.

Vance and Hines were right. The Monster Rounds are the winning combination.

I have the DNT on my 17 SGS and I love the sound I had a set on my old Road King and it sounded like a big block when I did the Zippers Muscle 95" kit.
It has a deep rumble like no other.

Were you just exploring, or did you remove the baffles for a specific reason? My DNT’s paired with my Bassani true duals on my ‘17 RGS M8 and it’s sounds amazing.

Just picked these up and wanted to see what the baffle looked like. They do sound good.
It must be that 3-stage baffle design that makes them sound so good.
