Default Rush Big Louie M8

Was about to order some Bassani DNT's to replace my RCX's but was talked into Rush Big Louie's, I really hope I made the right decision. Anyone have any experience with Big Louies? Thanks

S&S MK45 are also worth checking out.

What don't you like about the RCX's?

Its not that I don't like them, just looking for a little different tone. The company I just bought the Big Louies from said they tested most brands and decided to leave the big louie on their test bike, said it sounded the best. They did say the S+S was a good choice but liked the BL better.

I just purchased the BL for my M8 and I have to say they are louder and a different sound then BL on my TC. I liked the BL because in the future if headpipes are removed I would be able to change the baffles.

is "louder and a different sound" a good thing or bad?

Do you like them/happy with them? I was kinda set on Bassani DNT but the guy I talked to sold me on the Big Louie. For some reason I have a weird feeling if I made the right choice.

I don't know what they sound like on the M8 but I hated them on my 16. Even ran their headers. They weren't loud at all which I wanted on that bike because I tour on it. Rinehart and V&H have a better sound IMO. I am searching for new cans for the 17 now and rush is not on my list.
