I give zero ***** about the numbers. But the engine is smoother throughout the whole range. I'm most happy that the lugging/chugging at low speed in 1st/2nd gear is gone.
nice, glad it worked out and you're happy! nice to have a fantastic running bike that didn't require having to kick the warranty to the curb
For sure. I won't do anything else to the computer. But I won't rule out upgrading to a higher stage if I have to have engine work done under warranty and the dealer is picking up the labor.
He had to be joking. There's no way someone actually believes that.
He's not joking. It is the best way to break in a new motor as all parameters of the process are strictly under complete control and monitored every step of the way.

My reply was to a post that said the M8 isn't ready for dynos yet.
Looks like I'll be making another trip up to Colonial HD. The tune has a dead spot after shifting into 6th. Very noticeable unless I'm accelerating hard all the way through 6th. Under normal riding conditions as soon as I shift into 6th and let out the clutch, it's almost like one cylinder dies. The bike doesn't slow down or drop RPM, just feels like it loses half its power. Has to be something with the spark timing. Either way, it'll give me an excuse to visit friends and my favorite watering hole again. And I won't have to pay anymore to get it fixed.
That is the way it works. Not something you notice unless you are easily going into 6th, then the throttle blade is rolled back so you need to compensate.
A terrible issue that, IMO, needs sorting with a comprehensive tuning system, not a neutered on.
