yeah no damage other than an already damaged wind screen. laid down right on the engine guard. mine came down really slow. I was sitting on it when it went down.

That's to be expected when an 800 lb. bike comes to rest on it's guards. I have a laugh anytime someone mentions that the bike's guards touched any hard surface and it left no marks whatsoever. Not gonna happen.

I have to go thru a whole process to get the bike out and then put the bike in.

Remove two cars, then out of the chock stand, push it back and forth to get the angle to get out of one of the garage doors. Before getting the bike out, i take small electric blower and blow out the garage, just in case.

Same, process to get it back in, a major PIA. But doing this always makes me reset and think about each step, i can't just nonchalantly pull the bike in or out, which would be very nice.

As we all know, the weight of these bikes can make a slight miscalculation unrecoverable. Fortunately no harm done.

You'll probably never have to experience that issue again.

Keeping dry over there? Was going to drive over on business today then down to Springfield through Rolla. Looked at the MoDot maps of road closures in MO and said never mind . . .
It FINALLY stopped raining a few hours ago. I figure we have a week or so before the flood waters go down. thankfully, I am high and dry, but going anywhere south of st louis is a mess with the roads closing.

well it turns out that I may have hurt myself worse than a sprain. Cant even pull the clutch with my hand and its been a few days. probably go see the doctor to see if its worse than a sprain or if its just 51 year old body getting hurt. With some dry weather, this is killing me. I have the wrist wrapped up and I'm itching to go.... but the wife is at the door saying hell no.
