Just put on my new custom-made Le Pera Monterrey solo saddle with backrest. I had it made with no studs, classic diamond stitching, biker gel, & the leather-vinyl combo. The top of the seat & front of the backrest are leather with vinyl on the sides & back. Only put 50 or so miles on it so far but it's pretty comfy. I'm looking forward to my first road trip on it in a couple weeks. It's a hard seat but that is what I'm used to. I put 40k miles on my Fatboy with a Bare Bones over seven years. Excuse the filthy condition of the bike -- rode 227 miles in non-stop rain across Missouri a few weeks ago & haven't been able to wash it yet. Next up are Factory 47 14" bars once they arrive!

 

That is a great seat and love the backrest! Had a bare bones on my heritage and loved it. Now that I have an rk...Been thinking of a replacement seat....think it's time to get on the la para website!

As I was looking at the picture I was thinking the same thing. That backrest is identical to my mustang backrest. The hardware and even the seam across the middle of the back.

Love the look of the seat and stitching. Very nice!
