Default Issues with your M8? Or not...

This is based on an idea another member had. We already have a sticky thread specifically for folks who have had issues with their new M8. This thread is designed to gauge how many have had issues and how many have not. Hopefully to either shine a light on theories about there being systemic issues with the engines, or to dispel the rumors/myths about the engines being defective.

Please vote and then post what issues you've had or that you've had no issues.

I did a Stage 3 at 900 miles no engine issues .. blew/stripped 3 gear out on the trans. Got a new case and trans repaired in a week and a day.

Too small of a statistical sample to make it worthwhile....

How many people post here vs how many M8s have been sold?

Plus, you might want to define "issue" a little more specifically. That could include anything somebody gets nagged about.

Plus Plus, then you say to post about your vote. This is literally just combining the who's had a problem thread with the who's had no problems thread and topping them with a creamy poll topping.

LOL! I can only worry about the people on this forum. I have no way to poll those who aren't.

Do I really need to post more than "M8" for folks to know that I'm referring to the engine? Being that the whole bike isn't an M8...

I think we should start a thread for people who don't own M8's but have heard from people and heard of people who have heard of problems

If we hear about the same bike multiple times in different threads, does that count just as 1 bike with problems, or 1 for each time its been mentioned? Im thinking just in HDF, the actual number of bikes reported are very very low, just repeated often, thus the feeling its a huge problem

I can't for the life of me figure out why people think these m8 are problesome. So far mine has been the best Harley I have owned. By far I mite add. I had more problems with my twin cams than my M8 ever thought of.
I don't know about you guys but my M8 is bad to the f*****g bone.
Love it.
