People tend to complain more than give praise.. If this product didn't work, everyone would know about it!

I’m glad to see people are having success with the MCCHP pushrod. “The Fix” works and it is 100% impossible for fluid to transfer unless the seal wears out, but it’s a more involved installation process. I have recently moved back to Az. for good and I don’t have a machinist to do the nuts here (I do have one that will do side covers), so when I sell what I have left of “The Fix” kits I’m done. I’ll refer anyone that has transfer problems and that contacts me to MCCHP from here on.

Most everyone that has purchased “The Fix” has been able to install it without any problems, but replacing the pushrod is simple enough that even the mechanically inept should be able to do it.

Also, it will work with the AIM actuator which I don’t think “The Fix” will. Even if the larger piston in the AIM actuator will clear the seal in “The Fix”, you have to vent the primary and the way I recommend is to drill a hole in the actuator. I don’t think most people will want to drill a hole in something they just spent $250-300 on.

My tranny fluid started disappearing onto the garage floor (yes - a leak) after only 250 miles. (2017 FLHTK)
Also had a rear rocker leak - the tech did not seem surprised - almost as if he knew where to look.

I have kept close watch on it and after 3K miles, nothing has leaked.

Stonecold, Hi, new member here, jtowles. I just bought a 2019 SG and have 227 miles on it and had to add 8 oz. oil to transmission yesterday. So the problem still exists on the new ones as well. I would like to get one of your "fix it" kits that you might have but you will probably be sold out by the time that I have the required posts in order to PM you. Thanks for helping us help ourselves. JT..

If this is a fix for the M8 transfer issue... Why was the manufacturer of the product banned from the site?

probably because he didn't pay to be a vendor on the site.

Why was Macombs banned? He has a legitimate fix for the transfer problems so many of us are experiencing and was only answering questions about it.

Do the mods want him to pay for advertising here? Or did one of their other vendors get twisted over the fix?

The reason was not specified. I wonder if they will lock this now.
