Default Really liking my new M8 Road King

Had the 1K service done on Thursday & did a couple of 100 miles on Saturday, these M8's just get better & better. I've got a stage 1 with the street cannons & hi-flow ac & they just get better with more mileage. What really hit home with me was riding a '17 Heritage Classic whilst they serviced my RK, night & day difference & what a difference with the heat coming of that t/c !

Took my M8 Road King on the Blue Ridge Parkway this past weekend with 7 of my riding buddies. 1310 miles round trip from Pittsburgh. The King was flawless. 49 mpg and it pulls like a locomotive through the twisties!!! I'm over 5000 miles on it and have Zero complaints or concerns. In 46 days we are going to spend a week riding out of Deals Gap, NC. (Let there be DRAGONS!). Life is GOOD!! Long live the KING.

Yes, they are great bikes. I recently did a 2300 mile trip on mine from MD to FLA and back. No drama, no issues, just smooth miles under me.

To the OP, why are you not showing more pics of that outrageously great looking bike of yours????!!!!!! Some of us have to live vicariously until we can get a new RK for ourselves......jeeeez!

I'm on a 2013 Switchback. I've test ridden an SGS (with Stage III) an RGS and an RK. All nice bikes, but the driver's view from the RK is what I see when I close my eyes and envision bucket list trips. That test ride really left an impression. I've been driving my wife nuts with obsessing over the new RK. Have to get a new car first this year, and then....... RK

Nice bike, and like the bird in the background also!

Just brought home a new RK last week. Luvin it!! Need to add a passenger back rest and luggage rack. Mind if I ask which one you added (Harley or after market) and if your happy with it? I'm leaning toward the Harley air wing sissy bar, but a little shocked by how expensive they are. Any recommendations or words of wisdom?
