I got my new Oberon clutch lever and put in on in 5 min. Works great looks very well made. A little pricey but what the heck it's on a 40K bike. I use pos.# 3 and the clutch grabs about 1 in. off the handlebar I like this Product!!!

Think I might try the Roland Sands, adjustable levers. They look good and from what I read, have the most range of adjustment. I hope they're as nice as they look.

I got the Oberon for my wife's RGS and she likes it. If it's on position #1 it won't start in gear. So position #2 it is for her.

I actually miss a cable style clutch. It felt like it had more control to me. Could play in the "friction zone"....

I have had the Oberon clutch lever on for a while now. Works for what I want.

My hubby watched a video online on how to shorten the reach on my clutch (2017 Road King). Wrapped the clutch well in a towel and put it in a vice - worked perfectly and not a scratch on the clutch. Bike still starts in gear and cost was......ZERO!

I installed the Oberon adj lever also so I could adj the clutch release point closer to grip. I could start bike at any position no problem. I was going to remove it because of the narrower finger area, but decided to give it a longer try. Jury still out. I run with it in position 2, and can now use just 2 fingers to pull in the clutch, effort is way less as now as I can wrap my fingers over the lever more to 2nd knuckles to pull in lever. Better leverage. Whereas before with stock lever, had to use all 4 fingers cause only my finger tips where pulling in the lever.

Could you include a link to that video? Thanks

I did the same thing on my breakout. Didn't like the adjustable levers because they were slightly shorter in length and felt harder to pull even though it was adjusted to be closer to the bar. Decided to put the stock ones back on and bend them a bit. Worked out perfectly. I actually did them while still on the bike. Heated the lever with a hair dryer, put a steel pipe in between the gap, another pipe on the lever end and pull towards me ever so delicately. Worked like a charm! Might do the same this weekend with the SGS. Note: Do this on your own risk. if you plan on doing something similar please make sure the lever is warm, to loosen up the molecules, and not cold, otherwise you risk cracking it. Also be gentle in the pull. These things are made of some type of aluminum composite.

For the black levers (like I have), using heat will likely change the appearance unless I use a heat gun maybe? Might try this as I would like to bend my lever in about 1/2 inch, would be perfect I think.

you're right.. could be a problem with black levers. Mine are black too. Not sure if they're powder coated or how they're painted from the factory but they did come from Harley. Wouldn't want to chip it. Guess i'll have to figure out another method.
