Last night I bought a new 2017 Street Glide Special. The dealer didn't have a Laguna Orange in stock, so they are trading with another dealer who did. Probably be a couple days before I actually get to go get it. The wait won't be so bad as I decided to keep my 2012 Wide Glide, its been paid off and is still fun to ride and has no problems. I never thought I would get a fairing bike, but what can I say they've grown on me. Before I did my test rides, I thought I would probably lean more to the Road Glide as most people seem to say they are slightly more comfortable, but I felt more comfortable on the Street Glide (and I think the batwing looks slightly better than a shark). I did happen to notice they are giving the other dealer a black Road Glide in their trade, I didn't pay enough attention to see if was a regular RG or an RGS. I'm really hoping they get it in and prepped so I can ride it this weekend.

Thanks looking forward to riding it most of all, but also posting pics of it (even if it will be stock). I forgot to have them add the Smart Siren and pager. Guess I will buy them and just install them myself. Really only want the pager, but it requires the siren. I had a 2011 Wide Glide stolen and guess that makes me a little paranoid as this bike is quite a bit more expensive and I would assume maybe a little bigger target of theives.

We pick up our 2017 SGS on the weekend as we decided to add a few things that we thought were needed! Hope we have as much enjoyment on ours as you do on yours! Ride safe! Also, thanks for your service!

Laguna orange SGS is the best looking and the best performing touring model Harley has.

I agree, Laguna Orange is an excellent choice of colors!
