Heck, IMO, the dealer/MOCO should have given him a loaner bike to use for as long as is needed. If ANYONE deserves it, he does for sure!

Who knows, that depends on your dealer. If I were you, I would have a list of questions and hand it to the service tech so he can give you answers on each particular one. Think of everything you can, and tell him you want him to check for it and tell you the results. Then tell him to check things you may have forgotten to ask and you also want to know the result of those things. Just an idea, good luck.

I bought this bike in early Sept. 2016
Bike is still in the shop. Been there since June 27th for this new motor replacement. So my riding season is still slipping away. M8 motor is a real
let down in quality from my point of view. Bike has been 7 weeks out of service
since Sept for me. That is unacceptable for $$$ I spent.

Update: Got a call, bike should be done Monday. Hope it's worth it with the cam installed.
Fingers crossed.

I'm picking up my '17 CVO Limited today with a new 114 engine, new stage 4 kit and new oil pump. I feel your pain. Did you have anything upgraded on your engine or was it stock from the beginning?

Definately a love hate relationship with Hogs. I have three, meticulously maintained, as we speak I'm pulling a 97 evo apart because after trouble shooting a low oil pressure light, turns out my Oil Pump pinion shaft gear teeth disintegrated over roughly 25% of the machined surface area. Parts in the gear case, I'm sure in the oil passages, sheared the key on the oil pump drive gear.

Waiting to crack my 2000 TC to take a look at the cam shoes...

Buy a Goldwing? No F******* way brothers...see ya out there.

Picked it up Aug 2nd. Got a 1000 miles on it as of today. Engine and torque cam working great. Changed the oil at 500 miles and drain plug was clean so no worries. I ran a couple autotunes with the SE Street Tuner and finally enjoying this bike again.
