Default TAB Slip-ons for the M8

Wanting to upgrade to TAB slip ons because of the removable and interchangeable baffles.

I was wondering if anyone is running just slip-ons without breather and tune and if so how is the bike running?

Asked the dealer today about adding after market slip on and warranty. They told me it wouldn't void it. They also told me to add a aftermarket tuner because the SE one was a waste of money.

I couldnt agree more about the SEPST being a waste of money. But... I'd be careful with using aftermarket tuners and having any expectation of keeping your warranty. Your specific dealer may support you if you choose to use a non epa / non harley tuner, while other dealers will not.

I am running the TAB Performance BAM Sticks with the Zombie baffles, very happy with my purchase and the service from TAB is top notch.

I am only running the slipons, no air cleaner or tuner and it's running like a champ and sounds fantastic!

Just go back from a 1200 mile tour of the Texas Hill Country with a mix of every kind of riding, sound is perfect imo.

I couldn't be happier

Thanks for the info. That's what I was hoping to hear. Think I'm going to order some.

And my dealer told me they will void the warranty.

I have the TAB performance, tuner and air cleaner. I don't know how the bike would run without it but I know it runs good with it.

Oh and about the warranty. My dealer would install the Rinehart 4.5" and told me that those don't Void my warranty since they sell them. I took the Rineharts off and put the TAB's on but if the bike goes back to the dealer for anything it will be just like it was the day they installed the Stage 1 and Rineharts.

My impressions of both pipes. The Rineharts are too quiet. I bought the TAB's used and I was told incorrectly by the seller that they had the Zombie baffles (they don't and I'm not real happy about that), also too quiet with whatever baffles they did have installed, so I'm running the TAB performance with no Baffles. I like it! I am looking for some Zombie baffles if someone would like to sell them.

I really want to get the FP3, however, that damn warranty scares me. There's always that "what-if"...
