Traded in my 2010 Road King on a 2017 Road Gide Special yesterday. Going to miss the King but I think I'm really going to enjoy Road Glide. I was in San Antonio a few months ago for work and rented a Street Glide. I was pretty impressed with the new M8 from the 600 miles I put the rental. Started thinking about a new bike after that. And once you start thinking about it...

Now the real fun starts. I'm a big guy, so I'm Planning on new bars, footboard extension, extended brake lever and a new seat to begin. Probably go with a Corbin seat like I had on the RK. Going to try and leave the motor stock for now. Did cams, head pipe and exhaust from Fuel Moto on the Road King right away when I bought that. I don't think I will make it through the full 2 year warranty on the RGS before I do the same, but I do want to get some hours and miles on it first.

Funny. I tried the bat wings for 3yrs and finally had to admit they just weren't for me. Happy with my King.
