Default RG Vent Screen Mod with matching A/C screen

So I got bored and went hunting for a match for the M8 Air cleaner Screen, because I thought it would look pretty good as an insert for the Fairing Air Vents.
I went this way because I wanted it to match the A/C unlike a lot of the expanded metal/ebay/hardware store brand stuff we see a lot of already.
I bet someone already found it and posted it but just in case... it took awhile... I found it. Or darn near 99% it anyway. It's cheap too!

Amazon Amazon

So the stuff is tough to cut. I used the worlds best rusty metal shears and a crappy template I made myself to ensure the roughest and ugliest edges possible.
Doesn't matter though, because the edges are completely hidden.

Hardest part was making sure the square screen and horizontal lines were straight horizontal with the headlights.

Anyway, here are some pics.

I won't kid you, they collect bugs GOOD.

I just wash them off with a soapy towel or just let them rot away after a month or so.

These really turned out to be popular colors on this bike. Ive seen the vent screen before, I just wondered about the bugs..... Ive actually seen them come up the vent during a ride. it was pretty cool.

Your sense of humor (foot & shears) is rivaled only by your ingenuity!

Pretty freaking awesome!!
