I can fully understand the OP`s concern given all the other stuff that some M8 engines are doing!!

Thx to the forums, I have confirmed that I'm an idiot. Went out side let the bike get hot. It started sputtering again. I rolled the throttle forward to cut off that eitms and the bike stopped doing it.. So it looks like I'm today's dumbass of the internet..

As mentioned above, the info button on the right side will flip up a screen that shows the ambient temp, oil "OK" (or not) and whether or not the EITMS is on. With my latest computer update, the radio has to be on for the info button to work...

I'm pretty sure your not "Today's dumbass". There is a guy a couple threads over that is running his bike without a right side muffler. Cause the bracket broke... months ago.

That could have been Yesterday's though.

Glad you got it sorted.

In response to David's question, I think that "OK" is all you get, at least on my Road Glide. There is no oil pressure gauge.

EITMS engaged for sure. Roll the throttle forward and hold it for 10 seconds and you will shut if off.
