Got an in house service deal, paid $500 and it is good for 12 months, unlimited miles and it changes fluid every 2,500 miles with my choice of dino or syn. I have had 5 services done and still have 3 months left on my contract. I think it was a hellava deal!

I paid nothing for the 1k service. I changed the fluids and filter myself and took it to them for the rest. Half hour of labor and I had a "$50 off your first service" coupon.

How much did you pay ?
Man sounds like they did give you a good boning [smile]

Did my own. 7 Quarts of Mobil 1 20w-50 V-Twin and Mobil 1 oil filter $ 110 off Amazon. Check V-Belt tension (fine), head bearings (fine), tire pressures and run a few nut and bolt tightening checks. Easy, 1-hour service and put that extra $ 200 in my pocket, but you do need a jack.

I refuse to let them friggin morons touch my bike. Somethings I'm not willing to let go of, servicing my bike is one of them. It's the shovelhead mentality. Gotta know how to do those things on your own, just the way I am.

I made the dealer include a service manual with my bike, that was part of my deal.
