Default Fog light dash lights

In the tachometer gauge, you have a blue high beam light and to the right you have a green fog light indicator. When I first got bike when fog lights were on, both the green light in the tach area and the toggle button light to the left on the ignition switch would illuminate. Now the light on the dash is not functioning. Called two dealers and both said there is not a green light in that area. The local dealer was looking at me strange until we went into the show room an turned on some ignitions. Low and behold a green light next to the blue high beam! They are clueless. Anybody else have this little nuisance of a problem? Not a big deal just wondering if it is a warning sign of bigger issue.

I'm completely clueless about the issue but are your hi-beams on?
By default the fogs go off when you have the brights on so maybe the gauge indicator goes off at the same time? I dunno. Just speculating.

I am aware that when brights go on, fogs go out. Green indicator light on dash should be on when fogs are on. Mine were at first, now it does not illuminate.

on my 2016 SGS there isn't a light for the aux lamps I asked the dealer when they were installed , but our 2017 Ultra Tri Glide does you would think the tach on both models would be the same hope this helps , and the dealer programmed the SGS so the aux lamps work on high and low beam

Could have sworn the tech was turning on the ignition on all rushmore bikes with the fog lamps in the showroom and they all had the dash light.
He was not aware of it until i mentioned it.

You need to have the light enabled via a download from dealer connected to Digi tech. As well you can have the lights programmed to stay on w high beams if your service dept will do it for you. Some argue its not legal.

I actually wish the dash light wouldn't even come on as the switch has a light if on it is lit as well

My issue is that it is not functioning now as it should be. I wonder if when I downloaded and installed the latest version of the Boom software caused it.
