2 into 1 Exhaust for M8 touring bikes

If you follow that link above, they have two videos posted on YouTube. I’m not a “sound” guy per se, I just want good performance. As speculated in this thread, any 2-1 should perform well on this platform. It’s a gamble for sure, but not a big one.

And that is the question of the day.....I've heard a D&D Billet Cat on the M8 and don't think it sounds that great. I'm torn between, FM Road & Track, Bassani and now this one in the mix. Key here is that we don't really get to hear any of them. Sounds clips usually provide a shitty at best attempt for what they sound like.

I would not get to carried away with wich 2-1 exhaust is the best. They are all good and there overall torque and HP numbers are very close. So close you would never feel it in your *** if you know what I mean. I would get the one that you like the sound of and is in your price range but to pay a bunch more money to just say you got this brand or that brand is just foolish. I have used most of them and they are all good performers. My SGS will get the Bassani road rage B4 2-1. I will report back when I decide to do it. For now there is 6” of snow on the ground.

i found the YouTube vids and they sound awesome! But I’m wondering what else they did. S&S breather and stage ? New cam? Couldn’t find where it says. Maybe I’ll look in comments section.

I doubt they swapped the cam for the sound test. I think most people would feel that was a little misleading and would call them out on it if they did. So I'm guessing they just kept it a Stage 1 with a tune. Pure speculation on my part though.

Wow. I am more impressed if they sound like that with just a stage 1 - of course the video probably doesn’t do the sound justice as well.

Looks like the V&H Pro Pipe does pretty damn well too.
Here's a 17 RGS with V&H Pro Pipe, Ventilator A/C, and Zippers Red Shift 468 cam.
This is the same bike, but with the 465 cam in it from S&S.

Been thinking about the TH 2-1. Im just making sure I can get a good tune for it. No one will ship TH here in Ca, you have to know a shop that will order for you. There are A LOT of Harleys with TH here in Ca.
I had the 2-1 on my LowRider and my current bike only the TH slip-ons.

Just a thought but I'm a little wary of charts that only start about 2500 ...especially for those that may be concerned about losing anything down low and the idea that a 2-1 preserves or improves low end torque.
add: Compared to Jamies chart tho it does seem to give a particular bump at 2700 of about 4 or 5tq and doesn't have that little dip at 3500.
