If I was to decat the stock header would I need to run a tuner? And would the SEPST be acceptable? Wondering if this is worth doing to get a little louder? Any performance benefit?
The cam has the most affect on sound. At least it seemed to for me. Removing the cat helped with the heat. But yeah, removing the cat would probably need returning. O guess the Sept will work, but if you're blowing your warranty, if you still have one, then go for broke and do a tune with a proper tuner that isnt limited.

Wish these baffles were easier to get out.

Default S&S MK45's

I just purchase a set of MK 45's at Biketoberfest in Daytona for my 2020 FLTRK. All the manufacturers were there (Cobra, Tab, Rinehart, Vance and Hines, and S&S) with their pipes ready to roar. I had a chance to listen to all of them especially with the stock headers and cats still on them. I also talked and listened to a lot of bikers at Destination Daytona. I decided on the S&S after hearing all of them. I was actually surprised that they were louder than the bike they had shown me earlier. I loved the sound even more. When it comes right down to it, it's all in what you think sounds good to you. Another reason is because I travel all over the country and I wanted to stay compliant with my exhaust in all states in case I was pulled over.

To me theres a noticable difference. But not enough to matter me.
Mine is a 19 RG .

Here's another sound clip. Best sounding pipe I've ever had. DB killers out with the stock headpipe.
