Is the crankcase position sensor located on the front left of the bike? Making sure. Thanks.

No, its been moved from where the TC is located. now its on the bottom of the engine and is the only sensor down there.

Ahh yes thanks, I have looked at that many times because I believe mine is leaking. Maybe a sign of sumping. I will have to try the test.

Look for SB1450. That describes what to do.

Default Stock 17 CVO Street Glide

I have all the same symptoms with a stock CVO street Glide. My bike has about 2,800 miles on it and I've had this problem since new and just heard about sumping. Has anyone else had this on a stock bike? When it happens I feel excessive heat off the engine as well. I also get a sound I thought was detonation. Is this related too? It's going to the dealer later this month.

Thanks, Bob

The detonation sounds like you taking about the exhaust poping .. mines does that as well....
when I rode from Long Island to Staten Island 35-40 miles into the ride my bike felt sluggish no power on 2 3 4 ... the clutch felt sluggish ... smelled like burnt oil ... and it was super hot on my legs ... I pulled over at the gas station on the middle of the belt parkway gassed up when I left I had power again until I passed the Verrazano again .... on my ride home after the bike rode like a beast all the way home by then temperatures had dropped and the bike had cooled off for a few hours ..

Default Stage 2 Sumping

Put 12K on my stock 114 2017 CVO Street Glide. No issues. Went stage 2 put around 3K on her and the sumping started. This issue is not limited to stage 3 and 4.

It seems a larger bore exacerbates the condition. That includes stock 114/117" motors. but certainly, the small bore bikes are sumping as well.

Did you replace the oil pump O ring in the crankcase when you added the cam?
