Charity ride today
Went on a charity ride today to the Royal Hospital Chelsea which is the home of the iconic Chelsea Pensioners, who are all retired soldiers of the British Army. Since 1692 they have offered care and comradeship for veterans in recognition of their loyal service to the Nation. The ride was organised by Bike Tours for the Wounded who take injured veterans on bike tours of Europe & the US. Thought i'd share a few pics.

Cool pic! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing!!! That really is special. Here in the US we have few (if any) charitable organizations going back to 1692, but to help one out that's been serving veterans for that long - well, that leaves me speechless

Nice. I bet it would be something to ride through Europe. That would be a great time for sure......
