2017 M8 postmortem
I'm curious how many Milwaukee 8 owners would do things differently, knowing then what you know now. If H-D offered you all of your cash back, would you take it and move to something else? A different engine or brand, not a 2018.
I know that a lot of owners have had issues and I wonder how many people would like to just take their marbles and go home, assuming they could get all their marbles back. (some people have lost theirs over M8 "idiosyncrasies")

How many Harleys have you owned? this one is my 6th, and although there have been documented issues with them, Id do it all over again.......

I know these questions get old, but I'm curious to what level people are disappointed with their bike. Is it "yeah, I've had some issues, but overall I'm happy I bought it" or is it "Damn, I've got too much into this bike, but if I could get it back, I'd walk away!"
Kind of a NASA go/no-go type of question.

I plan to buy an M8 next spring. So keeping close tabs on this board. I was not willing to be a beta tester. Many have had no issues. And their have already been redesigns of some parts. So I am comfortable buying one. On another note. There have been several posts here about the BMW K1600. Just for grins I spent some time on one of their forums. There are a few common issues with the K1600 that have never been resolved and it has been around for several years not. So thinking that switching brands will guarantee reliability is not going to happen. Maybe with a Goldwing. But that is an ancient design, boring as he'll and ugly. At least in my opinion

Disappointed? Nope! it's cliche but it's the best bike I've ever owned (17 RGU)
I've changed the Bars (Klok Werk's Klip Hangers), seat (Road Zeppelin) and slipon's (TAB Performance)
Love the torque and suspension on the new bike, MUCH better than my 15 RGS especially 2-up which is the majority of my riding now.
The ONLY thing I miss is the color, the Amber Whiskey on my 15 RGS was almost as nice as the Tequila Sunrise on my 12 RKC
