Things could be worse, you could be an Indian owner

You know he's a tough SOB when after all that, all those staples, and the lesson he comes away with is, "I need a lighter helmet!"

I'm with Badbagger09 on this one, personally I like the look of the Indian other than the front fender, the ride was good and handled good but man that furnace below was too much for me. We rode one at Myrtle Beach this year and I was never so glad to get off a bike in my life. I think they'd sell more bikes if they would cool them down a lot.

No what's odd is the same guy with two names posting the same comment in two different threads. Amd my comment was more of a light hearted jab. Lighten up.

I read complaints here about everything under the sun so after hearing all the negativity I head over to an indian forum and read what issues they might be having.
All they talk about is Harley and they compare everything to a Harley. A couple guys will bag on HD but, the majority of posters sulk with their Brady Bunch station wagons having no after market solutions, slow bikes and their all frantic over the M8 motors.

The suspension sucks, the bike is slow, no aftermarket and when they talk about the ability to beat a stock M8 they all start dreaming about buying a Triumph Rocket or having a stage whatever to beat us.
The introduction of the 114 and 117 is leaving buyers remorse in many threads.
IMO, they'll all be shitting their pants when Polaris dumps Indian because in 30 years they simply can't get past the mid think of building a bike that looks like a Buick and handles like a 1970 cadillac.

Still not buying it. HD needed an updated motor. You can bet they've been working on this for a long time.

I do want to make one thing clear.
I bought an Indian because I wanted a new bike. Although my last Harley was the Best bike I ever owned, Harley will never see another dollar of new bike money from me.
I bought the Induan because I want only American and have so far been every bit as happy with it as I was my last Harley.

I'm here because I like this forum and I like Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. I've developed online friendships with several members here over the years and have met several over the years all over the U.S.
I said I would never buy another "New" Harley. I would have no problem buying a late model EVO and in fact, have been looking at a couple on Craig's list.
Hope this helped you to "understand". If not, I can't help ya.

That's like comparing a 60's muscle car to a Subaru STi.... Sure, the Subaru is faster, corners better, and is more reliable... but for some (I'd bet most) of us, it's no contest - stick me in the '68 Camaro RS, please.
