Does that make sense?
That is a power button, the start is on the right hand control like on a Harley, only you do not have to hold the starter button in like a Harley til it starts, just hit it once and she will crank til it starts. Have owned an Indian or three, now 2019 Street Glide Special, my last Hawg was a 1963 FLH that I owned for near 45 years.

Man, can't believe this thread is still going on. The question was answered in the first few posts. Must be winter

Evidently bad-mouthing Indian [or BMW. or Honda, or, or, or] never gets old.

I just reread this thread after a few months. I find it funny the smack talked on the Indian front fender that should have died years ago, oh god it so ugly, so unoriginal, should be buried in the history of old school bikes, but then I look at the modern HDs. Hmmmmmn, when you compare it an HD fender from the 1950s is sure looks similar. It seems the Road King fender from 1950 and the Road King fender from the modern day are simply the same thing with better room for the brakes.

Yep, put that in your pipe and smoke it!
