Where is heatwave? He can explain it better than most people. He is on his third engine. To the best of my knowledge, stumping is when the oil pump can’t scavenge the oil out of the crank case. I could be wrong but I think that’s the gist of it.

I have a 2017 RGS Stage 1 (picked up Oct 2016) with the sumping issue. Oil pump replaced 1,200 miles ago. I now hear a whistle noise when decelerate. Dealer says MOCO says now is a characteristic of the new pump. No further sumping. total of 13,300 miles so far and loving it!

You by chance have a pump part number off your dealer work order?

3500 miles on my RGS. Got it last day of July. I saw it was built in July of 16 inside the saddle bag, if that’s what that date is for.
