did you run the Rineharts with the sock header?
Would I need a tuner if I just installed slipons?

 

You can probably get away with just the slip-on's and no tune. But if you toss a breather in, that's pretty much a stage one and would require a tune. But if you stick with the H-D tuner, you can run an auto-tune and do it yourself with pretty good results from what I understand.

However, the Rinehart's are not EPA compliant, so be sure to keep your stock slip-ons in the event you need warranty work.

As for me, when I went with the Rineharts, I also added a Fuel Moto decated header and dyno'd with a Power Vision tuner. Again, not warranty friendly, but the results were outstanding in both performance enhancement and sound.

 

Just Got A 2018 Wicked Red RGS,Pick it up Fri.Just Made My Appt. For It at Hulten Speed Sports,Getting 12 inch Yaffe Monkey Bars,Rinehart Black Slimline Duals,Air Cleaner ,Power Vision An Dynoed.First Road Glide Coming off an 11 103 Street Glide had a 06 Street glide also.Really like The new RGS,Had 12 in. Monkey Bars on My Street Glide Very Comfy So Getting the Same but Black, Rineharts Quality Pipes Good Sound,The New Slimlines should look good.Pipes Wont be In till 10/6,So will have to ride it stock till then.Cant wait To try this RG,Will let you Know The Difference From Stock an Dyno With the pipes.

My personal opinion if you're wanting to keep your warranty is the S&S MK 45 slip ons with the stage 1 SE breather and SE tuner once the break in period is over.

It will sound better the more miles you start racking up and things "break in".

Hea I always have did this Never had an issue,Not going to Ride Around Thinking about how good My old Bike Sounded an Ran So be done with it an Enjoy,Cant wait to get the Bars on either feels Funny with stock bars.

Yeah I always liked a white harley as well. Strange, for such a common color you really dont see many white ones around. Mostly black and blue.

But I'm happy with my rare laguna orange. lol

 

Pics please when you collect, I have ordered this colour too but delivery early next year. Not many black pipes out there yet
