Default drip marks inside gauges

I have a 17 sgs. only 3 months old. just noticed what appears to be drip marks inside speedo and rpm gauges. almost looks like how paint dries when drips. thought they were on the face of gauges but after moving my head from side to side its on inside glass. tried to take pics but doesn't really show up. only got caught in rain once 2 months ago. anyone had anything similar going on? thanks

Very common HD problem, my 17 SGS has had them for a year now.

Simple answer is damn right it's worth it. As much as you paid they need to perform as designed. I would imagine that's a warranty item

Moco will replace gauge for this if you can get service dept. to acknowledge the problem.I had this on my 2016 SGS and finally got gauge cluster replaced, but within 2 months it was doing it again. My new 2017 SGS is already exhibiting the problem.Instead of being moisture, which I had on my previous Road Kings, its like a coating that runs down inside face of speedo. You don't notice it only when sun is over your shoulder and hitting the gauges just right. If you take bike into service for them to look at it,bring along a bright flash light to shine on gauges to show them.

Same problem here, my '16 RGU had what appeared to be moisture inside the speedo, streaks running down the inside of the glass. Had the dealer replace the speedo and the new one had the very same problem right out of the service department. Almost looks like some type of oil or glue dried on the inside You can only see it at a certain angle when the sun hits it just right.

My new '18 RGS seems OK for now, hope I don't have the same problem.

That's why I'm just dealing with mine, afraid to take it in if it's just gonna do it again. Why risk them scratching my bike or messing something else up, like you said, I can only see it at certain angles and really don't pay it any attention anymore.
