For those of use that don't want to have saddle bag guards those holes make a great place for extra rear lighting. I had saddle bag guards on my last bike but I'm liking the look without them much better this time around. That's the great thing about Harleys, you can customize them in so many ways and spend allot of your hard earned cash on the way.

Default Rear bag mount lighting solution

HD Keystone lighting (similar to CD). I really like the effect of these lights

Those little lights stuck between your saddlebags and the fender look so Honda.
If you want to be seen, why not install the older big stock chrome turn signal bracket and big orange turn signal lights that came on the older bikes that are really visible to the cars behind you.

I installed the keystone fillers today..... I like em. They were easy to do too. The little screws were a pain in the a**

The chrome surrounding the lights looks awful. I know it's the bracket that supports the saddlebags, so it can't be removed. Best thing to do is cover those hideous brackets with the saddlebag filler panels. Even though they don't have lights in them, they sure look better.

Well, thats why there are so many options for us all. What one guy thinks is ugly, the other guy might think it suits him. Thank God we have choices. I like the lights.......

YMMV
