Downsizing... Lol. I've considered it as well. 114 Heritage is talking to me.

Local small dealer has moved some. Winter is on the way here sales slow down fact of life.

My dealer isn't having any trouble moving them. The only ones that stay for awhile are CVO's and Trikes. And I'm sure that is because of the price. Most new Softails are sold before they arrive.

I'll pick mine up in a few weeks when it comes in. First time I've ever put money down on a bike to hold.

Was there any improvement in the 18 tourers over the 17s? Frame or motor improvement for the 19s?

Maybe people aren't excited over blacked out baggers? I know for myself, blacked out, is played out...

BINGO!! For the first time that at least I can remember, HD abandoned the "trickle down" methodology and updated the Softail frame and suspension before the touring bikes. These bikes now have the BEST set up rather than the worst of the lot. Then, as you said, there's that 114.

Can you imagine finding out that a Softail rides better than your $43,000 CVO??

I am trading my beloved Road Glide for an '18 FatBoy. The engine was a big draw but the frame and suspension was perhaps as much of a draw for me.

[QUOTE=sixguns;16715989]bikes in my area are selling for 4k off MSRP[/QUOTE
Don't think Columbia HD can stay in business discounting new 2018's $4,000 off MSRP unless its a CVO.JMHO
