Default What slipons for 2018 RGS and no tuner?

Wondering if I should go with Screaming Eagle slipons or maybe Rineharts; not planning on an air cleaner upgrade for now so hoping I won't need a tuner.
A bit worried about the whole warranty issue, so maybe SE is the way to go? Not sure how they sound though.

Anyone else installed slipons on their 2018 bike without a tuner?

I did S&S MK45's on my 2017 SGS, no stage 1 or air cleaner upgrade. I recently did a 1550 mile trip from PA to FL without issue. She ran great, getting 45 miles per gallon.

I have V&H 450 Titan slipons on my 17 RGU with no AC or tuner upgades. About 4k miles on it since the slipons no issues

The screamin eagle street cannons are pretty weak (in MY opinion) I would try to hear a set before buying. I started with the street cannons but sold them very shortly after buying them and took a $200 hit, was not for me but some guys here are happy with them. Go to westendmotorsports youtube page and watch their videos, they have a nice selection of 4 inch and 4.5 inch slip ons to compare, you can also call Mike there and tell him what sound you are looking for and he can help a lot, he has heard and tested just about everything out there for the M8. Good luck!

I went with Fuel Moto Jackpots on my 17 SG with no tuner or air cleaner. Runs great

Keep your stock mufflers. Literally takes 10 minutes to swap them out if you need to go to the dealer

I have the SE Street Canons, they ar 'ok', more racy sounding than the deep bass rumble I prefer. My wife has the pre-M8 SE Street Canons on her M8 Trike and they sound much better imo. I will say the Canons perform very well with the SE Stage 1 dyno tuned and was told by our tuner and service manager that's their observations as well. They are mellow for Touring which I like and how I spend most of my time, and don't drone, buzz or ring my ears. but for pure sound I think there's better choices.

I have the S&S slip on on the FLHXS. To my ears they sound fantastic. Scoot now sounds like a Harley both at idle and when twisting the throttle. Very radio friendly in 6th gear
