Transmission fluid transfer service bulletin

amazing you can spend $20,000 on something that's engineered wrong right out of the box.
This is my 4th harley and never had anything like this before.
Can't wait to see what goes wrong next. Hopefully not while I'm driving.
Seems there should be a class action lawsuit coming regarding these known problems.
Service guy showed me these vents are standard on 2020 models so buyer beware. This apparently was their permanent solution.

Oh I found it, just a crappy rubber vent tube.
So my question is I've gone from something that was sealed to being exposed to air now and what problems this will cause if any? Apparently this is a band aid and does not cure the problem.
I'm pissed that they are allowed to sell new bikes without disclosing this.

But at least this vent tube kludge seems to fix the transfer problem. Too bad they haven't found a 50 cent solution for the sumpers. Which does bring up an obvious question. Will the 2020's sump? I suppose we'll find out soon enough.
