How far back can you roll Yaffe bars?
Thinking of putting a set of 10” Monkey Bars on my 2017 CVO StreetGlide. The stock bars are pretty good, easy on my shoulders (bilateral rotator cuff damage) but I seem to find myself hunching over the tank a bit, especially when I install a taller seat, like the Hammock. I figured raising the bars up a couple of inches would allow me to sit more upright. I was looking at the 10” because I want to keep my hands behind the fairing (we get winter up here in Alberta), plus I don’t know if my shoulders can take more height than that. I’m lookiing at Yaffe’s because they seem like a quality piece and they look great.
Thing is, I’m 5’11” but I guess I must have short arms or something because all the pics I see of installed Yaffe bars are pretty much right close up to the fairing. I would rather have mine rolled back to be about 4-6” away from the fairing, pretty much the same pullback my stock bars have.
My question: anyone try this? Will they hit the tank at full lock in this position?
Thanks guys.

What kind of bike do you have? I sat on my bike while the guys still had them loose to see how far I could come back, 2 inches was it, any further and I will be knocking dents in my tank at full lock.

I have been thinking about apes on my new RG and came across these today. Read the description and they sound like they do what you want. FMB is the supplier and they have a nice selection if you don't care for these. Think I have seen them down to 10", not certain. They do state that they can be rolled and 12" will accommodate stock cables. These say fit Road Glide but don't see why a Street Glide would make much difference???

I installed Khromewerks 2+2 narrow sweeper on my wife's 2017 CVO SG hands still behind the fairing, using stock mirrors and 2" closer then stock bars. Also installed 17 CVO Limited stock Airflow heated grips not the cheap ones from P&A, bike is pre wired just need to plug in. One issue with these bars the hole is too small and 2" further where it need to be, had to drill a hole where it needs to fit the wiring like stock CVO bars.

Thanks guys for the replies. You've given me a few more options here as far as bars go, so that's good.
Jake2544, thanks for the comments regarding the pullback and the 8" bars... I was looking at those as well. I thought if I got the 10's and rolled them back they would be just about right, but if it cannot be done then I'll look at options.
It would be great if I could try some bars out, but it seems everyone I know around here has 12's and up... way too high for me, although they do look pretty great.
Cheers
