2018 Harley m109r aka Fatboy
2018 Harley Vmax aka Fatbob
The new heritage, deluxe, and slim seem traditional still.
Also feelFeel HD went bobber happpy on most their line.
Love the M8 engine design tho.

I'm kinda torn on the look, I think some of the models are way cool, but other times I see the "metric look" you're talking about.

I do like that brushed aluminum appearance they have

I was behind an M109r today on the freeway and the 18 Fat Boy looks ALOT like the M109r.

No , but the metric crusiers copied the lines of the older HD. If to look at them the 2018 non touring line does follow a 1950's look in a modern way

The fake oil bag covers under the seats look very honda-ish. Seems like they could have designed them a little differently.

Yea In was going to mention that all brands followed and imitated HD to some degree hey . So other brands look like HD's not the other way around for me !

I'm with you on the looks, but the flip side is that most of the Japanese metric cruisers have long been criticized for looking too much like Harleys.

I think the nature of the cruiser beast is going to have them looking awfully similar. You have to move to the more traditional lines of the Heritage or the Indian Chiefs to see something that had a distinctive company style.

The Orient-ation of HD advanced substantially with the bubble head in 2017 IMHO. As to 2018, some models do look really good; others,,,,, "lets just say I'm happy I got my Breakout before 2018. Lopping 3" off the BO wheelbase and giving it a Sportster 3 1/2 gal tank and a 107 / 114 engine have me wondering WTF they were thinking.
