Default Original oil in M8s

What oil does the M8s have in them when delivered to customers ? Syn 3 in all 3 holes or formula in primary and trans ? In the past I have run HD360 20w50 in motor and formula in primary and trans until 5k then switched to synthetics. Just curious Thanks Boogity Bob

If it's a CVO, then Syn3 in all 3 holes. Otherwise Dino HD in the motor, and Formula+ in primary & tranny.

Moaners annual for me says FLBS,FLHCS,FXBRS and FXFBS softails are synthetic in the engine and all others are not.
The 107 Softails are non synthetic transmission and primary oil and the 114 's are synthetic transmission and primary lube.
Bob you owners manual will have it.
I'll be going Synthetic at my first service .

I recently had my 5k service done at the dealer. I told the tech that I was thinking of going to syn 3 in all three holes. He told me that the bike comes with syn3 from the factory. Now I did have my doubts on that one, but it is RECOMMENDED (not required) that you use syn3 in the M8's.

Service shop asked me if i wanted to go to Syn in all 3 holes on my 17 Limited. Not sure if that is definitive or not if it comes with Dino Oil, but its something.

I have a package with the dealer that changes all fluids every 2,500 miles, I've had them switch from dino to synthetic and back a couple of times. I can't tell any difference at all between the dino and synthetic. Just my observations.
