So have to live with chatted stock head pipe and SE mufflers with Stage 2, to avoid warrantee risk?

Bingo! Well on the head pipes.

You're pretty much stuck with SE cam and tuner though for your stage 2, but there are better slip ons to help with sound.

and yes, there's been some QC problems with SE Street canons with loose baffles..myself and a buddy fell victim
What are the symptoms of "loose baffles"? Is it a flutter while downshifting?

you can here it rattling at idle as plain as day..put your foot on the end cap and it stops

My bike just now has only 4k miles and seems perfect and runs like a top. I start reading all these issues and problems and naturally I start wondering. I check tranny and oil almost after every ride for this migration issue and my levels hot or cold are always spot on. Now, I'll start listening for loose baffles at idle too. Thanks again.

no prob..my advice is to not become preoccupied overthinking everything you read and try to enjoy your riding experiences as much as you can! most of the stuff you read/hear about is the exception not the rule and it can drive you bat $h!t crazy and make you start thinking you have problems that don't exist!
