Just amazes me how this forum can turn every non issue into an issue?Based on his original statement he dosnt know if the belt is too tight he just thinks it is.For goodness sake Dude, just run it down to the Shop and ask a technician to put a finger on it!
A lot of misinformation spewing out in this thread. For the OPs bike, the belt deflection should be checked with the vehicle unladen, at ambient temperature, with the vehicle either upright or on jiffy stand, with the rear wheel on the ground, and the transmission in neautral.
