check heat shields and exhaust crossover fastener? maybe just get out a set of wrenches and check everything in the vicinity to see if you find something loose

If you are unable to find it did your bike not come with at least a 2 year warranty?

One of the best tools I have: grab a hammer by the head and tap around with the handle (if it's rubber coated). I've found loose heat shields that felt OK when checking by hand. Take the bags off and tap the frame and supports.

Sounds like a loose bolt somewhere.

Look for loose crossover pipe in the bracket attached to the transmission.
When it heats up the pipe swells a bit and the rattle lessens or goes away.
I dented the bracket a bit to snug up the pipe in the bracket. Doesn’t take much to get rid of the annoying rattle.

I've got a rattle on my TriGlide, that I can't find. One thing about rattles is to not be mislead by where you think it is coming from. They're sneaky buggers...

I have the same rattle and just went through the entire exhaust system tightening everything to spec. Still rattled. Kicked the Street Cannon a couple times and it rattled. Took the muffler off and held it vertical and hit it with my palm - it rattled. The damn baffle came unwelded.
