2017 RGS fairing rattle/ticking
Hello all, I just purchased a RGS, about a month ago, and I've noticed when riding with no radio that I hear what sounds like rattling or ticking coming from the fairing/dash area. I've taken it to the dealer and they say nothing is wrong, they took the fairing off and put it back on but I hear the sound coming from inside the fairing. Possibly the radio area. Has anyone else experience this with the newer models? If so, what was the fix? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I'm taking it to dealer again, I paid to much to get a little annoyed when riding it.

On my CVO, the Front Brake Line was just barely touching the inner fairing and when tooling down the road the little bit of movement in the Bars/Bushings would cause the Brake Line to Eeck when rubbing the inner,,, drove me nuts till I figured it out... Also, when I installed my 10" bars, I couldn't get over how some screw & bolts on my frontend & fairing were not even close to the same Tightness when removing them...

Check the vent where it attaches as mentioned above, pretty easy for those posts to pop out when taking vent off to remove outer fairing.
Also check the metal tabs/slots on the inner fairing. I had a painted inner installed at delivery and the metal tabs for the inner mounting bracket were in front of the slots instead of inside of them. There was a lot of rattling/squeaking noise and loose crap inside from the vibration. I just happened to catch it when removing the outer to install stereo, if I hadn't caught it the fairing would have ate itself quickly. You can see the slots/tabs from the bottom of the fairing without taking anything off.
