They both sound great. I picked the SE's to do my best to maintain the warranty, but dig the S&S's too.

The Nat'l are for sure louder and to me sound much better. Fuel Moto says they are better performing as well. They are also EPA compliant so no issues with warranty. Im running them with the SEPST with no issues.

I like my Street Canons but already had 1 replaced under warranty and if I have one fail outside of warranty I've narrowed down their replacement to S&S GN or Kerker Slash

I am happy with my Cannons, to me they sound much better in person than the YouTube clips I saw. I posted a clip as well, but doesn't do the true sound justice. I will say that with the blunt tips, they match the extended bags beautifully!

I have the two piece slant tips on my Cannons, they sound different (better to me) than the blunt tips. The defiance tips sound much much different than either of them.

The Street Cannons have a great sound, but I'm liking the Grand Nationals too

The Cannons sounded fine to me when they were on my stage III bike, now with them on the mostly stock bike they were really lacking in sound. In my case it could be from the stage III having a lot of character that was all lost going back to stock. The S&S made up for some of that. There is a little gurgle back there now and a really nice tone that to me really compliments the unique sound of the M8.

I'm liking the grand nationals also, I just wish they put a little nicer tip on them, they look kinda cheap to me, the videos do sound good though.
