Default 475 with neighbor haters..

I just ordered an s&s 475 cam for my 2019 107.
currently just have power vision intake and neighbor haters slipons.
I plan to remove the cat and keep stock headers for now.

I've got some mixed answers reading about the neighbor haters being to open for the m8...and the 475.

I currently have tourqe inserts from dk customs in the NH because I noticed some loss after installing them..I believe they helped..maybe..but more so I like they way they sound with them in..so I left them

I have a set of the stock slipons as well. Would those be a better choice for now?

has anyone run the neighbor haters with stage 2?

I know me..I will be getting new pipes..but for now I plan to use what I have.

I also have Cobra Neighbor Haters on my 2017 m8. Everything else is stock, but am missing the low-end torque.

Do you have a link or part number for the torque inserts you installed on the NH's?

DK-TTI-158..I first put them closer to the end ..I drilled into the chrome of the bell part of the bafthes ...but I didn't like that you could see them. So later I drilled into the baffle and put them further in.

I think if you went to their biggest size it would be a good fit to use in the actual pipe..with the baffels removed...these pipes are very loud without the baffle...louder than with no slipons even on. To loud for me

I'm not sure how those would create more backpressure than the baffles that are in the cobras

The Haters do not play well with the S&S475 at low end its not a low end cam especially with the big outlet exhaust. If you put your stock mufflers back on you will notice a huge difference for the torque issue you have ,,,,,but hate the sewing machine engine sound they generate. You have to find the sweet spot slip ons.

I've ran the 475 with 2 different sets of very open mufflers, one of them with nearly a 3 inch baffle and yes, while it did suffer down low, it was not terrible. The bike was still very ridable and smooth but you could tell it suffered some down low.
