Default Stage II completed with Red Shift 468 Cam

2018 RGS
Rinehart Slimline Duals with 4” exhaust, Screamin’ Eagle Hi-Flow A/C, V&H FP3 and Zippers Red Shift 468 Cam. So far so good, had to download a couple new tunes from V&H’s and it’s sounding and feeling strong. Crisp throttle response and gets loud under heavy throttle. That lopey idle is back!

jmyrick, I'm new to the forum by way of your post. The SGS is supposed to go to the chest surgeon by end of the month but I'm still debating SE tq cam vs Woods 222 vs RS 468. Did you loose power anywhere in the band? And did you have plans to put it on the dyno? She sure sounds good!

I’d just about put that came in just for the sound!

Is it just me, or does it sound like a bit of the sewing machine valve train noise is back as well? Seriously though, it sounds great......

YMMV

You will lose a lot of tq down low with the 222, the 22x is better, but I would recommend either the CR460 or the RS468.

Debating between the RS 468 and the s&s 465c for my 18 lowrider... can't wait to get cam and the big radius pipes (if only v&h would hurry up a bit!) on it and make it look and sound mean!

Hey CMJ, welcome to the forum. I have absolutely zero loss in the power band. I’m extremely happy with the results of the cam and glad I chose it. Being a former motocross, drag and road racer I know a well tuned motorcycle when I throw my leg over a bike. No plans on putting it on a dyno unless it’s free 😁, I will post the results when that happens...stay tuned.

Very nice being able to hear that lope sound. Only wish you could have had someone twist the throttle while you were behind the bike.
